Synopsis: Hardcore is a way of life. It’s a world of sweat, bruises and truth spit in the face. Giangiacomo De Stefano interviews the most important exponents of the New York punk scene, passing through the theatres where in the eighties the history of this rebellious music was consumed. The subculture of punk with its sound atmospheres, schizophrenic percussions and stunted guitars… The director takes a look back at a revolutionary phenomenon, until the moment of defeat, when the gentrification of underground neighborhoods is accompanied by clashes with the authorities and fights. This brings darkness to the stage.
